The Wheelchair Assist is a device that takes the least amount of effort expended by someone consigned to that mode of transportation and exponentially multiplies the energy used in the turning of the wheels so that even the frailest arms and hands will be able to propel the chair forward at a speed previously unattainable. Or perhaps, just to be on the safe side, at a more traditional speed but with much less effort. The accompanying photos are of the prototype so a working model would be more to scale.
